poetry UNKNOWN CIVVY
UKNOWN CIVVY My breathing gets harder Heart beats very low Wounds feel less painful Blood loss slows Life's thoughts float In death's shrouds caught Howling winds shriek past Snow is burying me fast Nobody near to speak to Alone I will breathe my last My hope driven eyes search for heaven Wanting a fantasy god to save me But all is dark and doomy So no saviour's star do I see I think for whom and why Do I lie here to die Too late alas I ken and sigh For the war profiteers lies My parting spirit wails the cry How many millions more will die Fools who fall for the parasites' lies As did I another victim Once full of life's vim I was a fool to not against leechers' wars protest Whilst I had life’s breath Will be the right epitaph For this dead unlucky unknown civvy So Goodbye Life Hello Death 11.6.51
